Beacon investment intelligence

The problem Beacon solves

Public data does not provide an investment decision

The information needed to screen a renewable energy project is spread across transmission data, connection queues, historical nodal prices, generation records, project announcements and forward market signals.

Having access to that information is not the same as being able to use it. A developer still needs to determine:

  • Whether visible grid headroom is sufficient for the proposed project size.

  • How much competing generation is already connected or seeking connection.

  • Whether solar or wind has historically earned the average local price.

  • Whether that value is strengthening or eroding.

  • How the project compares with other opportunities.

  • Which assumptions would materially change the deicsion.

Beacon compiles, cleans, joins and interprets public market, transmission and geospatial information to produce consistent and location specific investment screens.
